This is an antique Louis Philippe mirror, discovered in France. The design on the giltwood frame is a floral pattern with decorative beaded accents. The tones are in the range of soft reds that have likely faded over time, leaving a beautiful finish. See images for details and examples of the varied finish. 

Overall dimensions are 40" W x 46" H x 2" D. Chips and surface wear are present in the frame. Back is completely enclosed and mirror is original. There are areas of crazing, spotting and discoloration in the mirror that are a result of age. No cracks or chips in the glass are present.
