Historic Roe deer trophies from Emperor Franz Joseph's castle at Eckartsau in the Southern Austrian Alps, a favorite hunting schloss of the Habsburg Royal family. Each trophy mounted on exquisitely hand carved original Black Forest plaques and look particularly beautiful in sets or groupings. Original hardware (or writing) on the skulls are various cyphers and medals original to each piece-- the writing will often reference the person who took the trophy, or location it was taken.
Price is per piece and there are just two of these Roe Trophies currently available. Images of the available items are numbered for your reference. As these sell, the images will be removed to reflect the available stock. Please refer to individual pictures to indicate which trophy if interested in purchasing. Each measures approximately 10" H x 7" W x 5" D, but the measurements vary from piece to piece as they have different plaques.
