A very special pairing of Antique French Ebonized & Gilt Wood Stations of the Cross Framed Mirrors, which likely once held artwork reflecting the stations, but have since been modified as mirrors. Each piece features a decorative open carving of a cross at the top, and each is numbered (VIII & IX). The numbering is painted in red and there are gilt details throughout.
Each frame measures 38"H x 18.5"W overall, with the mirrors alone being 24"H x 18.5"W. Surface wear and losses are present. Each mirror has variances in the finish and condition, see all images for full details. -
