Antique French oak chest featuring three drawers in the French Empire style that is solidly built and imported recently from Europe. Discovered in Northern France, the finish has been stripped and bleached showing the lovely details of the oak itself. The top is beautifully crafted creating an almost natural herringbone effect. Pulls and escutcheons are hand crafted in brass with a slight vert de gris patina and include the interior locks for the drawers but keys are not currently available. Solidly built and drawers pull very nicely and easily.
