This is an antique Louis Philippe Mirror, discovered in France. The design on the giltwood frame is a floral pattern with decorative beaded accents. The tones are in the range of soft reds that have likely faded over time, leaving a beautiful finish. See images for details and examples of the varied finish.

Overall dimensions are 37.5" W x 52" H x 2" D. Chips and surface wear are present in the frame, with some losses to the plaster. Back is completely enclosed and mirror appears to be original. There is spotting and discoloration in the mirror that are a result of age. No cracks or chips in the glass are present.
