This quality-made French commode features solid cherry wood construction and beautiful brass hardware. The maker is Richelieu Art et Muebles de France, whose mark can be seen on the back of the piece (last image). The piece has been hand-painted with a greige body and a faux stone top. The top drawer features simple pulls while the lower two drawers have more ornate bail-pulls with birds, pomegranate and floral details. This is a very well-made piece of furniture that while not very old, has the look of an antique piece.

Measures 49"W x 20.5"D x 35"H. Scratches and surface wear present. Painted finish is new. Patination on hardware may be intentional, as the exact age of the piece is unknown, but we believe it to be vintage. The maker is a well-known French furniture maker still in business today.
